Cork Chamber has launched a search for Cork based companies demonstrating significant achievement and success.
The Cork Company of the Year awards, in association with Vodafone, are open to businesses from the SME to the large multinational sectors.
Running for 16 years, the awards are now synonymous with the highest level of performance and achievement in business.
“I am continuously inspired by the level of commitment, talent and innovation demonstrated by so many Cork companies,” said Conor Healy, chief executive in Cork Chamber.
“At a time when companies are operating in a challenging environment, awards like this become even more significant in recognizing and celebrating significant business success and achievements.”
Last year’s winners were ePub Direct in the emerging company category, O’Connell Group in the SME category and SouthWestern in the large company category.
“The calibre of companies that were celebrated at last year’s awards was so impressive that we are really looking forward to what the 2013 Cork Company of the Year awards have in store,” said Anne O’Leary enterprise director at Vodafone Ireland.
“Companies across the region are continuously innovating to really progress their businesses and are beating the odds, it’s great that we can acknowledge their hard work.”
Shortlisted companies will be profiled in the media in the lead up to the awards and the overall winners will be announced and presented with an award trophy at the Cork Chamber Annual Dinner in Cork City Hall on Friday, 1 February 2013, where close to 1,000 business people and key influencers will be in attendance.
To complete the entry form or to nominate a company for an award go to corkchamber.ie. The closing date for entries is 1pm Friday 2 November.
