A new book entitled ‘Historic Motoring in Ireland’ which recalls Ireland’s motoring history from the earliest days is being published to commemorate 50 years of the Irish Veteran & Vintage Car Club.
The 170-page hardback production, compiled and edited by IVVCC club member Anselm Aherne, contains a fund of articles, information and historical recollections and is richly illustrated with photographs, many of which were never previously published.
Published with sponsorship by Motor Distributors Limited, the book has a cover price of €25 and will be available later this month through the club website, http://www.ivvcc.ie.
Founded in 1963, the IVVCC has some 650 members, comprising veteran, vintage and classic car enthusiasts dedicated to the preservation of Ireland’s motoring heritage.
