Specsavers in Cork city centre is hosting a Hearcare Awareness Week starting on Monday 15 October where staff will be on hand to answer hearcare concerns and queries.
The Specsavers ‘Big Ear’ character will be out and about in Cork city centre all week providing information on hearing tests and hearing loss.
The idea is to promote the importance of regular hearing tests whilst also striving to provide customers with the best value for money offerings. Run by qualified audiologist Rory Perry and his team, the Specsavers hearing centre in Cork city centre boasts hi-tech facilities.
Hearing tests at Specsavers are free, without obligation and are carried out using the latest computerised technology, including a three minute hearing test. This allows customers to monitor their hearing and ensure regular hearing tests.
Rory Perry, audiologist and director of hearcare services, says: “At Specsavers Cork, there is a choice of wearing styles – behind the ear, in the ear, completely in the canal and the latest ‘open ear’ fitting, is also available at no extra cost.”
The hearing centre is available to customers seven days a week. All Specsavers digital hearing aids are sold as part of a complete hearing package from the starting price of €750. This includes two hearing aids for the price of one, four years worth of batteries and a four year guarantee.
