A Cork woman from Shanakiel collected €46,600, including a car, on last Saturday's Winning Streak. Colette Walsh was one of five contestants who appeared on the show. The other four were from Cavan, Meath, Roscommon and Dublin while the biggest winner on the night was Dermott Walsh from Cavan town who won prizes to the value of €299,100.
The Winning Streak TV Gameshow is based solely on chance and there is no skill involved. To enter, players must submit a 3-star ticket in one of the special 3-star envelopes, which are available from all National Lottery Retail Sales Agents. Each Thursday in National Lottery offices, one hundred 3-star entries are drawn randomly in a preliminary draw that takes place under strict security controls. From these 100 entries, the five players for the following show are drawn and their names are featured on the gameshow.
The gameshow features all the favourite games from last season including Cash Cubes, Dare to Share and Wheel Reveal. Whenever there is no winner of €250,000 or above on the Grand Prize Wheel, the following week the lowest segment on the wheel will be replaced with an additional 250,000 segment.
