Yoga is growing in popularity all over the world and Cork is no exception! It is suitable for people of all ages and fitness levels regardless of body type, flexibility or shape.  
Yoga is an excellent way for those with an existing fitness routine to support their training as it is wonderful for preventing injuries, building strength, increasing flexibility, detoxing and increasing mobility.
Himalaya Yoga Valley Centre at 19/20 Academy Street has brought traditional yoga from the source to the heart of Cork city at traditional prices! Their classes are some of the most affordable in Ireland and you can pay as you go, purchase unlimited classes, class passes and gift cards too.

Yoga enthusiasts and novices have flocked to the new centre which has two beautifully renovated yoga studios and a chill out room where guests can relax before and after class. With over a decade of experience and over 500 global graduates of their Yoga Alliance teacher training course, the team are experts in the field of yoga.
The Cork centre was opened in July by Yogacharya Lalit from India, who has been practicing yoga from the age of seven, has been teaching for over 15 years and has two centres in India.
All of the teachers at the centre have been trained to the highest standards and they specialize in welcoming beginners to the world of yoga and also working with advanced practitioners. With up to six classes daily and a free intro class designed especially for those who have never done yoga before, there really is something for everybody!
