The rates for classified ads in the Cork Independent are: €5 for the first 12 words, including VAT, and €0.30 (30 cent) per word thereafter (including VAT)

A Premium Ad is €3 extra (including VAT)

Box number set up is €3 extra (including VAT)

The deadline for placing classified ads online via the Cork Independent website is 5pm on Tuesdays.

Cork Independent accepts payment by credit/debit cards: VISA, Mastercard and laser Cards.

Refund Policy

Cork Independent publishes classified advertisements in the newspaper or online, with the intention of meeting the clients' needs. The Cork Independent takes care to reproduce and publish the content of each advertisement faithfully and as presented or entered into our online booking system by the client.

Cork Independent reserves the right to place advertisements at its discretion in the classified ads section to reject any advertisement which it deems to be unsuitable for publication.

Cork Independent has a policy of not refunding the cost of advertisements after they are booked on line or when they are published if the content of the advertisement is as entered by the client, even if that content contains an error of fact or typography.

Cork Independent has a policy of either refunding the cost of an advertisement or publishing the advertisement in a later issue of the newspaper if it fails to publish an advertisement booking correctly by the client or it the Cork Independent has not published the content of the advertisement correctly. The client must advise the Cork Independent must advise the Cork Independent which option: a refund or republish, they wish to choose by emailing info@ifngroup.ie or calling 1890 258 258. Refunds will be processed within 10 working days to the credit or debit card used to pay for the advertisement booking.
