To escape the Irish summer rain, Peter Horgan jetted off to the balmy waters of Bellagio on Lake Como in Northern Italy and to sample what the natives described as la dolce far niente (the sweet art of doing nothing) First off the bat, Bellagio is not a boozy lads/lasses destination for partying all night long. The picturesque lakeside town is considered the liveliest of all the towns that adorn Lago di Como, but, if truth be told, is still a quiet location.
