Bodypainting world record

Excitement is in the air in Cork as the world record attempt for most bodies painted approaches in the coming weeks. 

Just weeks ago, organiser Keira O'Connell began to advertise the event, since then, the story of the body painting record attempt has taken the national media by storm. Yesterday, models and artists who will take part in the world record attempt appeared on TV3 news. 

Keira says, "I am totally overwhelmed by the response the over the last 24 hours. While getting naked and painted might not be everybody's thing, I am so delighted with the response. We've had people read about it online and are flying from London to participate. At this stage I think we will beat the record once everything goes to plan on the day. Now it's all about making it the most fun and memorable July twenty-eighth ever."
