Brittany Ferries' new ship ‘Kerry'.

All aboard Kerry the ferry

All hands will be on deck this week as a new ship makes its maiden voyage from Cork.

Called ‘Kerry’, the new Brittany Ferries ship will replace the ‘Connemara’ on the Cork to Santander route.

The ship offers two direct overnight sailings each week, with departures from Ringaskiddy on a Monday or Friday night and return sailings from Santander on a Thursday and Sunday.

As part of Brittany Ferries économie service, customers can expect ensuite cabins, self-service dining, a lounge and a bar. The ship also offers a number of pet-friendly cabins so your four-legged family members can travel too.

Kerry will take its first trip tomorrow, 1 November, and is expected run until November 2020.
