Cork's Club Bodega is shipping off to Crosshaven this month for 'Bodega By The Sea' as the famous venue provides the entertainment line up for the 2012 Cork Week at the Royal Cork Yacht Club from 9 to 13 July. Over five nights it will feature some of the country's best live bands and DJs combined with the unique atmosphere of Club Bodega in a setting like no other.

Pontious Pilate & The Naildrivers will be kicking off the week in their inimitable style on the Monday night. They have been playing together for over 10 years to rave reviews with their note perfect covers of bands like The Specials, The Beat, The Selector, Madness, The Jam, The Clash, The Undertones and The Buzzcocks. Death By Chocolate, one of Cork's newest chilled funk, soul and rock band take over the Bodega By The Sea Tent on Tuesday night. Fronted by Ruairi de Burca, they have been making a stir with some quality gigs around the town in the last few months.

West Cork's The Calvinists will be bringing their fresh unique sound to the tent on Wednesday night in a change to the previously advertised line up. It's a total take over on Thursday night with Smash Hits!, a tribute to the golden era of early 90s dance, pop and R'n'B.

The Papa Zitas will take to the big stage on the Friday night after the Cork Week Prize giving. Their Motown inspired melodies will certainly bring Cork Week to a triumphant end.
