Skibbereen the big winner at awards

Combined winners of the Overall, Men's and Women's Divisions of the eFlow Go Row Grand League Series 2012 with Anthony Dooley President of Rowing Ireland. Stacy Greene (eFlow), Teresita O Callaghan (Lee Rowing Club), Anthony Dooley (President Rowing Ireland), Dominic Casey (Skibbereen Rowing Club), Steven Connolly (Commercial Rowing Club), Teddy O'Donovan (Skibbereen Rowing Club), Catherine O'Driscoll (eFlow).

The eFlow rowing league presentation of prizes took place at the National Rowing Centre in Ballincollig, last week.

Prizes were presented to divisional and overall winners by representatives from eFlow and Frank Coughlan, CEO of Rowing Ireland. Pennants and cash prizes went to divisional and overall winners, with a strong presence from Cork clubs Skibbereen rowing club and Lee rowing club.

The league took place over four regattas in Belfast, Dublin and two in Cork and had record high entrants and spectators alike. In attendance was Rowing Ireland President Anthony Dooley while eFlow, sponsors of the event, were represented by Catherine O’Driscoll and Stacey Green.

Speaking at the event Catherine O’Driscoll said: "Through eFlow’s involvement in sponsoring the league, we have been struck by the talent in Irish rowing, the commitment of the participants, and the support they receive from families, friends and supporters alike. On behalf of eFlow, I wish to congratulate everyone associated with the eFlow Go Row Grand League series."

Men's Division One: Skibbereen Rowing Club

Women's Division One: Skibbereen Rowing Club    

Men's Division Two: Lee Rowing Club (Cork)
