It's the second Sunday in September and Cork has yet to see any success in Croke Park this year but today, hopefully, will bring that to a close. Cork take on Wexford in the All-Ireland Camogie final in Croke Park at 4pm. Much is riding on today's match as Cork already beat Wexford in the Division 1 league final during the year and Wexford then beat Cork in an early group match in the championship in June but todays match is the one that really matters.

Cork have one change from the side that beat Galway last month with Anna Geary resuming her position at centre forward and there is a positional chance in the forwards where Katie Buckley has moved in to full forward with Bríege Corkery moving back to the half forward line.

Wexford have dangerous players in Ursula Jacob and Katrina Parrack who between them scored three goals in their semi-final win over Offaly, while centre back Mary Leacy is a constant threat and her match-up with Anna Geary could well be the battle of the day as well as the decider of the match.

St Finbarr's club woman Gemma O'Connor is also a huge player for Cork at centre back along with experienced players Bríege Corkery and Orla Cotter. Wexford are favourites for the tie and are going for their third title in a row but as it was Wexford that knocked Cork off their perch in 2010 when they themselves were going for a three in a row, the Cork girls have all the fuel they need to set this match alight and bring the O'Duffy Cup back to Leeside.

Cork senior camogie team: 1. Aoife Murray (Cloughduv); 2. Jenny Duffy (St Finbarr's); 3. Rena Buckley (Inniscarra); 4, Joanne O'Callghan (Cloughduv); 5. Eimear O'Sullivan (Ballinhassig); 6. Gemma O'Connor (St Finbarr's); 7. Pamela Mackey (Douglas); 8. Jenny O'Leary (Barryroe); 9. Orla Cotter (St Catherine's); 10. Joanne Casey (Inniscarra); 11. Anna Geary (Milford); 12. Bríege Corkery (Cloughduv); 13. Katriona Mackey (Douglas); 14. Katie Buckley (Mallow); 15. Síle Burns (Rockbán).
