Uncertainty over Cork-Roscoff ferry this weekend

There is still uncertainty over whether Brittany Ferries’ Roscoff to Cork ferry will sail this Friday or if their Cork to Roscoff ferry will run on Saturday.

Sailings have been cancelled until further notice because of industrial action by French crew members. Talks between unions and directors have been going on for the last two days. Results of the latest round of talks were not known at the time of going to press.

The company apologised to passengers for the inconvenience and said it was endeavouring to contact all passengers.

Yesterday the company said that it was not accepting new bookings for travel up to and including Thursday 27 September. However this could change as negotiations continue.
