They Say, We Say: Vichy Normaderm 3 in 1 Cleanser RRP €13.25
"Normaderm 3 in 1 cleanser is a bathroom must-have combining a cream cleanser, exfoliator and mask in one easy to use product.
1. Cleansing cream: Reduces sebum production, removes impurities.
2. Exfoliator: Helps unclog pores, removes dead skin cells.
3. Mask: Mattifies skin, provide a fresh, clear complexion.
The creamy texture contains three important ingredients to aid in the management of imperfection prone skin:
Kaolin: Increases localised circulation and fights against imperfections.
Salicyclic acid: An anti-inflammatory, pore minimising and skin soothing agent.
25% Clay: Stimulates blood circulation and draws toxins and superfluous oil from the skin.
Ultra-purifying efficacy finally for imperfection-prone and sensitive skin."
My skin has been going through a particularly bad patch lately and I was delighted when this landed on my desk to try out.
However, I don't think it's the ideal solution for people with sensitive skin, as exfoliating products with grains in them can be too harsh for those of us with breakouts and spots, as they irritate them rather than improving them. Once a week use is probably enough for anyone whose skin is as reactive as mine.
The Normaderm range is great for most oily skin, but if your skin is both oily and sensitive I'd suggest sticking with La Roche Posay's Effaclar range which is just slightly more expensive but a bit more gentle.
