Jaguar Land Rover Ireland has achieved significant growth in 2012 with combined sales of over 800 vehicles up to the end of May – an increase of 39.7 per cent versus the same period last year.

The level of growth is impressive given that new car sales for the industry as a whole are down by 8.7 per cent.

The sales increase, according to the company,  is mainly due  to “the  phenomenal response received from customers and media to the two award-winning models on offer from each brand – the Jaguar XF 2.2 Diesel and the all- new Range Rover Evoque.”

Commenting on the positive sales figures, Gerard O’Farrell, Managing Director of Jaguar Land Rover Ireland said:  “The increased demand for both Jaguar and Land Rover demonstrates the unique desirability and strength of our products.  And with pricing starting from just €39,000 for the Range Rover Evoque and €44,820 for the Jaguar XF, there has never been a better time to consider Jaguar and Land Rover.”
