Last week Cork Arts Theatre launched its 2012 summer lunchtime theatre programme, and it’s a seriously packed one.

Running every Wednesday to Saturday (inclusive) from 14 June - 25 August Cork Arts Theatre will host a lunchtime production. This year’s diverse line-up includes opera, James Joyce, theatrical farce, comedy and even a talking evangelical burger!

The programme launches with Amanda Neri in ‘The Italian Job’ from 14 - 16 June. The following week, 20-23 June Mary McEvoy stars in Alice Barry’s new  show ‘Fruitcake’.

The line also includes a rake of Cork talent including Haulbowline Theatre Group with ‘Sunscreen’ (27-30 June), Maureen O’Byrne with ‘A Taste of Joyce through Word and Song’ (4-7 July) and The Two Lauras with their new comedy ‘Awkward Moments’ (18 -21 July).
