City Spectacular back this June
Laya Healthcare’s City Spectacular returns to Cork this summer with a two-day programme of events for all ages.
Fitzgerald’s Park will be transformed into one of Ireland’s busiest summer festivals, running on 20 and 21 July. Expect two days of breath-taking international street and circus performances, a feel good family health and wellbeing area with Laya Healthcare, delicious global flavours at the Just Eat Street world food market, live music, cuddly canines from the CSPCA, a vintage funfair and more!
Speaking with great excitement of this summer’s festival, which is also taking place in Dublin, Festival Director Shell Holden said: “Building upon the wonderfully rich and much-loved 14 year history of Laya Healthcare’s City Spectacular, this year’s world-class festival line-up is bigger and bolder than ever with over 150 street performances from jaw-dropping international talent, over 35 global flavours from the very best of Ireland’s street food scene and 40 hours of free belly-laughs, side-splitters and eye-openers for ages 0-100 to enjoy.
“This summer we are blending the old and the new, with festival favourites that everyone knows and loves, and a new mix of exciting programming to elevate Laya Healthcare’s City Spectacular to a whole new level.”
Laya Healthcare’s Sponsorship Manager Selda Simsek commented: “It’s been a great joy to sponsor an event that has grown in depth and delivery over the past seven years. City Spectacular is a one-of-kind free festival filled with endless fun and entertainment for all ages to enjoy and has been the perfect platform for Laya Healthcare to connect and demonstrate our health and wellbeing expertise.
“This year we’re looking forward to some fabulous new programming which is taking shape both in our Health and Wellbeing area and across the festival, so we hope you’ll join us with your friends and family this July in Fitzgerald Park for yet another spectacular show.”
Laya Healthcare’s City Spectacular takes place on Saturday 20 and Sunday 21 July from 12 to 8pm in Fitzgerald Park. Cork Independent are proud media partners of the event.
