Jobs boost on northside

There was a major boost for jobs on the northside of Cork city this week with the announcement that 60 jobs are on the way to a customer support provider.

Arema Connect, a 24/7 E-commerce Customer Support Provider, revealed on Tuesday that it is set to expand with the creation of 60 new jobs in Blackpool Retail Park later this year.

It comes as the company says it has built up a strong partnership with two multinational clients over the past few years and these have awarded Arema Connect a contract to support future sales.

Pat Keogh, MD of Arema Connect, said: “In the coming quarter we are looking to substantially expand our workforce to meet our clients ever growing needs.”

The 60 new positions will include team leaders and customer service representatives.

Arema Connect supports shoppers during the online buying process and is currently recruiting staff to work across email, telephone, live chat channels and administrative roles.

It has opportunities for English, French and German speaking applicants, too.
