Johnson and Perrott unveils new dealership

The ribbon has been cut on a new, state-of-the-art dealership by Cork motor group Johnson and Perrott.

Following on from the successful opening of its new Jaguar Land Rover showrooms last year on the Bandon Road, Bishopstown, Johnson and Perrot has opened a second dealership, specifically for Volvo, at the same location.

The new showrooms are among the first of Volvo’s Retail Experience facilities, which are been rolled out globally, with a focus on space and design that reflects the Scandinavian-inspired values of ‘cool on the outside and warm on the inside’ style architecture.

The new showroom showcases the Volvo range, with eight cars on display, six service bays in the workshop and over 20 people employed.

Attending the opening recently was Volvo Ireland’s Managing Director David Thomas and representatives from Volvo HQ in Europe, Michel De Conic and Mats Olhsson.

Speaking at the event, Peter Russell, Johnson and Perrott Dealer Principal, said: “With our long history working with Volvo, we are delighted to now have a dedicated facility to showcase everything the Volvo brand encompasses. From a great model range to the brand’s focus on sustainability and safety, we look forward to welcoming both new and old customers to the new home of Volvo in Cork.”
