It’s ‘ciao’ or never
There’s still time for Leeside language lovers to register for UCC’s Italian evening courses. The courses are open to absolute beginners as well as students with elementary, intermediate, upper intermediate and advanced levels of Italian.
Each course is held one evening per week from 6-8pm for a total of 24 weeks, delivering 48 hours of classes in total.
A popular tourism and wedding destination for the Irish for many years, Italy has also become an important trading partner with Ireland with Irish products such as beef and other food and drinks products becoming increasingly popular there.
There are also numerous links between Cork employers and Italian businesses or the Italian operations of multinationals with bases in Munster.
Italian is currently the fourth most widely studied language in the world after English, French and Spanish, studied by more people globally than the likes of German, Chinese or Japanese.
Each course costs €310 with descriptions, timetables and registration details available via ucc.ie/en/ studyingitalian/eveningcourses/ or by contacting the office on 021-4902335 (mornings only). The deadline for application for UCC's Italian evening courses is this Friday 7 September.
