Diana Ross and Cat Stevens to grace Marquee stage

The first big-name acts were announced this morning for next summer’s Live at the Marquee, the final incarnation of the event.

Presented by Aiken Promotions, Live at the Marquee 2020 will feature former member of the Supremes, and Motown queen, Diana Ross. The iconic Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award winning performer will take to the stage on 25 June 2020. Ross is celebrated both for her work with the Supremes and for her prestigious solo career influencing stars such as Beyoncé, Jennifer Lopez, Michael and Janet Jackson, and Madonna.

Also announced this morning is a performance by iconic folk singer-songwriter Yusuf/Cat Stevens. The Grammy nominated artist, renowned for such hits as ‘Wild World’ and ‘Father and Son’, will perform for the first time in Cork on 24 June 2020.

The announcements this morning will also see the return of a Live at the Marquee staple. Christy Moore will perform on 27 June 2020, as part of the final Summer of Live at the Marquee. Moore’s new album ‘Magic Nights’ will be released this Friday.

Tickets for Diana Ross Live at the Marquee go on sale on Monday 25 November at 9am. Tickets for Cat Stevens will go on sale on Tuesday 26 November at 9am, and for the beloved Christy Moore on Wednesday 27 November at 9am. Tickets will be available on the respective dates from ticketmaster.ie.
