Market on your calendar!
On the hunt for the perfect foodie gift this Christmas? Then you may want to set your sights for Carrigaline next week.
The Cork Incubator Kitchens (CIK) Charity Christmas Market event invites one and all to revel in the wonders of Cork’s local produce, all while enjoying delicious mince pies and a hot mulled punch.
Live demonstrations, delicious samples and interesting talks from local food producers like Rebel Chilli, Athula Asian Cuisine and O’Flynn’s Gourmet Sausage await the guests at the special market event.
There will also be a book signing opportunity with Cathy Fitzgibbon, one of fifteen contributors to health book ‘Mental Health for Millennials’ in which she focuses on the connection between food and happiness for the millennial generation.
The event is in support of CIK charity partners Cork Simon Community and its focus on alleviating homelessness in the local community.
Collection spots for hats, scarves, socks and sleeping bags, as well as money donations, will be set up throughout the kitchens to help support them.
This event will take place on Wednesday 4 December from 6-7.30pm in Carrigaline Industrial Estate at the Cork Incubator Kitchens.
