West Cork women gear up for 2020

Aimed at supporting and inspiring ambitious and enterprising women in business, Network Ireland West Cork held its first event of the year recently entitled Getting Goal Ready for 2020.

Held at Celtic Ross Hotel, Rosscarbery, guest speakers included Katherine O'Sullivan of O’Donnell Design and Sarah Abbott and Margaret Quane of The People’s Practice, who explored why goal setting is vital to succeed.

Newly elected Branch President Caroline Murphy said at the event: “We all have something to give, we all have something to share, we all inspire each other and this helps us to be the best we can. Being the best you means different things to all and it is about what matters to you. What are your ambitions, your dreams, your goals? It is also about following your passion, your path and no-one elses.”

She added that information shared at the event will inspire others to follow those ambitions and truly become the best version of themselves.

The next branch event will celebrate the launch of the Network Ireland Awards, with guest speakers and a panel of past award entrants and winners.

Booking is now open on Eventbrite for the awards launch, which takes place at AIB, Bandon on Thursday 27 February.
