Frank Shinnick, Irish Freedom Party.

Cork East

1) Why are you running?

2) If elected, what are you hoping to achieve?

3) Dead or alive, who is your political hero?

Frank Shinnick,

1. As a farmhouse cheese-maker who exports 60 per cent of that to the UK, I am finding a growing resentment from my UK customers towards Irish products. Nearly every Irish family has a relative in the UK. Family farming is being exterminated by the beef corporatocracy. Simon Coveney's Origin Green and Quality Assurance Scheme is farcical. Meat can come from Timbuktu and be labeled Irish Origin Green and quality assured. It has been primary responsible for collapsing beef prices as intended by the beef barons who created it.

2. The Irish Freedom party want to reinstate pensions at 65, not at 67 to 70 as proposed by Fianna Fáil and Fine Gael (in France it is 62). They ring-fence their own gold-plated pensions. After 64 years, it is time to abandon the failed TB eradication scheme which has been singly the biggest waste of tax-payers money since the foundation of the state. It can be only due to complete incompetence or deliberate intention. We are knocking trees all over the country to roll on 5G, we should put a five year moratorium on 5G until there is more research done on potential heath side effects. Belgium and the city of San Francisco have done this.
