Diverse range in new art exhibition

An exhibition showcasing the diverse works of some of Cork and Ireland’s most prolific artists is opening today, Thursday, on Leeside.

Lavit Gallery’s Annual Members’ Exhibition 2022 invites its members to submit up to three works for consideration for what has become one of the city’s popular art events.

The 52 works at this year’s exhibition were selected by three anonymous external adjudicators ensuring a diverse mixture of styles and media on display.

The Annual Members’ Exhibitions is a highlight of Lavit Gallery’s yearly program and has become a favourite amongst Leeside art lovers.

This year’s participating artists include Pauline Agnew, Áine Farrell, Melanie Gallagher, Joseph Heffernan, Gerard O' Callaghan, Raphael Llewellyn, Ursula Walsh, David Kavanagh and many more.

Membership to the gallery, which is located on Wandesford Quay in the city centre, is open to all and supports the gallery’s programme of exhibitions and events.

As a not-for-profit, membership is an invaluable way of supporting the gallery, whether you are a practising artist or not.
