A bloomin' great festival!

Mallow will be awash with colour this month as the Mallow Home & Garden Festival returns.

This year’s festival will celebrate the role outdoor spaces can play in promoting positive mental and physical health for the entire family. Gardening experts Charlie Wilkins, Peter Dowdall and Paraic Horkan will be on hand to share their passion and knowledge in all things garden related.

This year the 25 stunning show gardens will form the centrepiece of the Mallow Home & Garden Festival. The show gardens are one of the event's most popular attractions, not only as a source of inspiration, but also entertainment through imaginative garden design and interesting use of plants and garden structures to inspire you in transforming your own garden this summer.

There will be new and unusual flowering and foliage plants from Irish nursery suppliers.

Cork Builders Providers has worked closely in partnership with festival organisers to produce five of the landscaped gardens, especially designed and built by Cork based JPK Landscaping & Design.

There will be more than 150 exhibitors, covering the full range of home improvements, self-build and DIY, expert interior and garden design advice and local artisan food producers.

The festival gardens have also been completely transformed by Dulux whose very own colour consultant Cora Collins will be a guest speaker on Sunday offering great advice & tips on how you too can add some colour to your outdoor space.

The festival will take place from 27-29 May at the Mallow Racecourse.
