A must have for glow-getters

The sun was shining, the food was good, the company was amazing and there was such a feel-good vibe to the whole event. I hadn’t been to Naturally Nourished before but it was the perfect location for the event and I had the nicest haloumi and eggs on toast. Also I can’t not order haloumi when I see it on a menu!

I got to catch up with old friends as well as meet some lovely new people all while enjoying a delicious brunch.

We also got to meet Vogue Williams who flew in from London and she was just fantastic, so chatty and with new baby Otto in tow.

Before we sat down to eat, it was off to the rooftop for a barre pilates class with Barre by Emma and if you get the chance to do one of these rooftop sessions I would highly recommend that you do as it was really quite special to be doing this class with a fabulous view over the whole of Cork city.

I’ve booked in for some more barre pilates with Emma as I enjoyed it so much. Also of note were the stunning table settings with flowers from Shandon Flowers featuring the most beautiful hydrangeas which are one of my favourite blooms.

The lightweight formula, formulated with skin-loving super-food ingredients, blends easily into the skin to instantly soften and hydrate, all while creating a buildable just-back-from-holidays glow.

Saturated with hyaluronic acid and vitamin E, this serum draws moisture into the skin, deeply penetrating the pores with intense hydration and also helps to even skin tone and minimise the appearance of pigmentation. Apply 1-2 pumps to the face and décolleté in the morning or evening, massaging into skin with circular motions, avoiding eyes and washing hands after use.

I applied it at night and woke the next morning with a really even, lovely glow. I didn’t even wear foundation while I wore it as I just didn’t need it and that just speaks for itself as I love to not wear foundation as much as possible.

I’ll definitely be packing it in my case when I go on holidays in a few weeks as it will give me a bit of a glow while I wear factor 50 and keep my face out of the sun. It’s a win/win situation!
