It’s not just at the races where women and men can show off their inner fashionistas.

The glitz, glamour and party atmosphere synonymous with The Killarney Races’ Ladies Day continued late into the evening at The Brehon’s Ladies Day Aprés Party recently.

Celebrity judges Niamh De Brun, Shauna Doyle and Catherine Casey judged the Best Dressed Lady, Best Dressed Gentleman and Best Hat. The winner of the top award of best dressed lady; Laura MacSweeny walked away with a Brown Thomas Voucher to the value of €500.

Best Dressed Lady was Laura MacSweeny, Best Hat was Siobhan Wharton and Best Dressed Male was Pat Sullivan.

Guests attending the Brehon Annual Ladies Day Apres Party were whisked away from the Racecourse to The Brehon where a fabulous evening of delicious food along with a complimentary glass of bubbly awaited them in arrival.

Sinead McCarthy, General Manager said: “We were delighted to see The Brehon Ladies Day Apres Party return to The Brehon after a 3 year hiatus.

“The support from our patrons was astounding and the best dressed finalists went all out with beautiful fashion pieces, sustainable headpieces and local millinery. We’re already planning next year’s event.”
