Leeside entertainers The Loungeman and The Songstress will perform at this year’s Christmas Jingle.

Not a ‘jingle’ empty seat

Oliver Plunkett St will be filled with Christmas tunes and vibes this Saturday with the return of the Christmas Jingle Concert.

This will mark the sixth year of the festive event which will take place in The Oliver Plunkett Bar this time. This year’s concert will include a performance from The Songstress and The Loungeman.

The charity event has proved to be popular with a multitude of top singers and musicians from Cork, including Mick Flannery, taking to the stage. All proceeds go to Enable Ireland.

Guests will be greeted with mulled wine and nibbles along with a warm welcome and plenty of popular classic Christmas tunes. The Christmas Jingle will also feature a raffle. Tickets start at €10 and include mulled wine or prosecco and nibbles. Tickets are available at starlightentertainmentcork.eventbrite.com.

Organiser Marguerite O’Connor said: “We hope people will join us for the Christmas Jingle 2022 for live music, raffle prizes and buckets of Christmas cheer. We’re delighted to be back this year, with an alternative twist which will see live performances on the balcony of The Oliver Plunkett Bar. The concert is all in aid of the very worthy cause, Enable Ireland. Please help us to make this a very special Christmas for all. Grab tickets early to be sure of admission.”
