Vigil held for Bruna
Gardaí have said they are continuing to investigate the death of Bruna Fonseca whose body was found on the morning of 1 January.
A vigil in memory of the Brazilian woman was held at the weekend at the Lough where hundreds turned out to pay their respects. The vigil was organised by the local Brazilian community.
Gardaí are now appealing for any persons that were on Liberty Street in Cork city either on foot or in a car, between the hours of 4.30am and 6.30am on the morning of 1 January to make contact with them.

A man (20s) has been arrested and charged by gardaí investigating the death of 28 year old Bruna Fonseca.
He has since appeared before the courts on Monday 2 January and Monday 9 January.
Following news of Ms Fonseca’s death, family members and friends pulled together and started a GoFundMe page with the aim to repatriate her remains to Brazil which has raised more than €54,000 so far.
