Cork’s Minnie Marley will feature in this Sunday’s episode of ‘Buille’ on TG4.

Cork singers in the spotlight

Cork is to be well represented on an edgy new music show on TG4 with 2 Leeside musicians set to perform in upcoming episodes.

Filmed in front of a live audience in the iconic Dolan’s in Limerick, ‘Buille’ airs every Sunday at 10.30pm, shining a light on some of the most talented and diverse musicians in Ireland today.

This Sunday, up-and-coming Cork R&B singer Minnie Marley will take to the stage to introduce the country to her unique mix of Afrobeat, dancehall, hip-hop, and pop. Minnie is becoming a rising star in the music industry in Ireland with the video for her 2020 track 'Vex' clocking up over 111,500 views on YouTube.

Fellow Cork singer Clare Sands from Blarney will feature on episode 5 on 14 May. Fiddler and bilingual singer, Clare pushes the boundaries of traditional. Alongside her fiddle, she utilises guitar, percussion, and vocals combined with live electronics to create expansive soundscapes of story and song. Clare released her most recent EP, ‘Tírdhreacha agus Fuaimdhreacha’, earlier this year. The collection is made up of 4 contemporary compositions recorded across the 4 seasons and in the 4 provinces of Ireland.

‘Buille’ is presented by musicians Eve Belle and Cian McCarthy and broadcasts on TG4 every Sunday at 10.30pm and will feature 6 episodes in total. The show can be streamed on tg4.ie.
