A light suit in summer hues is one of Natasha’s must-haves for this season.

Dressing for sunshine and showers

Summer dressing always feels a little bit easier to manage, a great dress and some accessories are all you really need to create a fabulous look.

There are so many outfit combinations that work for summer and it’s always good to have a few easy-to-wear looks for when we experience a bit of the not-so-good weather too.

One of my go-to looks in the summer especially if it's not so sunny and also if I haven’t had time to do my tan is a classic jeans, white blouse and flat shoes.

I like to wear a light, loose-fit pair of jeans and mom jeans or straight leg are my favourite shapes. I simply cannot be bothered with squeezing my body into skinny jeans and in hot weather, they are like implements of torture!

Keep the silhouette loose and distressed denim with a few rips ensures you stay cool. Pair with a flowy white blouse perhaps in linen or cheesecloth and wear with espadrilles if it's dry or white trainers if it’s a bit wet.

If the weather is really bad, this look works well with a light trenchcoat worn over the top and then just layer your gold jewellery to elevate the look.

A floral dress, white trainers and a trench is also another great alternative for a not-so-sunny summer day and it’s a look we probably all have to hand in the wardrobe.

On the dressier side of things, I adore a light suit in vibrant, bright hues for summer.

It’s a great excuse to bust out tangerine, pinks and blues or even lime greens and they work so well with light, linen fabrics.

You could even swap the oversized jacket for a waistcoat and the trousers for shorts.

Again these looks work really well with heels, trainers or a fisherman sandal which is fast becoming one of this season's footwear must-haves.

The look is perfect for workwear with a classic white tee underneath but also a bright blazer and trousers and some heels are perfect for a summer occasion wear event.

I’m a big fan of a co-ord and while they work all year round, and I especially love a summer co-ord. Minimal effort for maximum effect - what's not to love about this particular style of dressing?

A matching crop top and high waist skirt in either neutral block colours or in a statement print are perfect for feeling dressed up when you have no idea what to wear.

And you need very little in the way of accessories, just add a great pair of flat sandals and your favourite pair of sunnies to complete the look!
