Inagural ball celebrates life itself

The Cork Cancer Care Centre hosted its first Celebration of Life Ball recently - an unforgettable evening filled with elegance, entertainment, and inspiration.

The glamorous evening was dedicated to celebrating survivors, honouring loved ones lost to cancer, and raising funds for a brighter future in the fight against cancer.

This extraordinary event took place on 7 October at Oriel House Hotel. The Celebration of Life Ball is not just a gala; it's a statement of resilience and solidarity. Cancer has touched the lives of countless individuals and families in our community, and this event symbolizes our collective commitment to supporting one another and working towards a cancer-free world.

“We are thrilled to have hosted the Celebration of Life Ball as a symbol of hope and unity in our ongoing battle against cancer,” said Linda Goggin James, spokesperson for the Cork Cancer Care Centre.

“This event is not only an opportunity to raise funds for our organization but also a chance for our community to come together, celebrate the strength of survivors, and remember those who are no longer with us. We invited everyone to join us for this meaningful evening.”

The Cork Cancer Care Centre expresses its gratitude to all sponsors, donors, and volunteers who make this event possible.
