The Boss set to return and rock the Rebel county

The rock veteran and his E Street Band have confirmed they will return to Leeside for a concert at Páirc Uí Chaoimh on Thursday 16 May 2024.

It’s one of four gigs the Boss will be playing in Ireland next summer. He will also take to the stage at Boucher Road in Belfast on 9 May, Nowlan Park in Kilkenny on 12 May, and Croke Park in Dublin on 19 May.

Tickets go on sale Monday 6 November at 8am from Ticketmaster with prices yet to be announced.

The concerts are part of a 22 date stadium tour across Ireland, the UK, and mainland Europe. The tour kicks off in Cardiff on 5 May and wraps up in London on 25 July.

In 2013, Springsteen delighted a crowd of 40,000 fans at Páirc Uí Chaoimh alongside the E Street Band. He delivered an epic performance that lasted over three hours, gifting the audience with some of his unforgettable hits, and wrapping up the show with a solo rendition of his timeless classic 'Thunder Road'.

There were no major concerts at Páirc Uí Chaoimh this year. However, in 2022 the stadium played host to Ed Sheeran, Elton John and Westlife.

For fans hoping for a summer day out in 2024, they will have something to look forward to now that Bruce will be back in town.

Other notable gigs that have been confirmed for next summer include pop icons Take That, who will play Musgrave Park on 20 June, and '80s rocker Sting, who will take to the stage at the same venue on 18 June.
