The Cork Large Company of the Year was presented to PepsiCo Site Director Brian Colgan by Liam Mullane of Cork Mercedes Benz.The 19th year of The Rémy Martin Cork Business Awards 2023 was a night of celebration of the very best of Cork people, businesses and civic organisations from all parts of Cork city and county. 60 award winners were recognised on Friday 24 November.
A capacity audience of 500 guests attended the event in The Clayton Hotel Silver Springs where comperes Miriam O’Callaghan of RTÉ and Alf McCarthy, formerly of RTÉ kept guests entertained throughout.
Guests were treated to an impromptu performance by Liam O’Connor and enjoyed a meal paired with wines.
Notable awards on the night included Patrick O’Brien of Sigma Homes who was presented with Business Person of the Year by Chris Mee from EHS International while The Cork Large Company of the Year presented by Liam Mullane of Cork Mercedes Benz went to PepsiCo. Site Director Brian Colgan accepted the award.
The guests danced the night away until the small hours with the big band JukeBox Heroes.
