North Cork natives are organising a fundraising concert in aid of The Alzheimer Society of Ireland, Irish Kidney Association and Breakthrough Cancer Research.

Nathan Carter will return to The Arches in Mallow on 25 October for a fundraising concert for the deserving charities. It’s being organised by Catherine Daly (Kiely), Ollie Kiely, Dawn Moore, and Jen McCarthy, all from the North Cork area. The selected charities are important to the concert organisers and they want to acknowledge support the three charities have given to their families and the wider North Cork community.

Catherine Daly said: “Often with charitable organisations, you don't realise their significance until it personally affects you. Fortunately, these three charities have been amazing in supporting our loved ones thanks to the dedicated efforts of those involved.”

Mairead Dillon, Head of Fundraising, The Alzheimer Society of Ireland, said: “We are very fortunate to have such fantastic and vibrant supporters who have gone above and beyond in their fundraising efforts, helping us to continue supporting people living with the dementia and their families.”

Eoghan O’Sullivan, Fundraising Manager, Breakthrough Cancer Research, said: “We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Catherine and the organising committee for their dedication and tireless efforts in making this fundraiser a huge success.”

Lisa Fitzgerald, Fundraising Manager, the Irish Kidney Association (IKA) said “We hope the Irish Kidney Association and our fellow charities Breakthrough Cancer Research and The Alzheimer Society of Ireland, with the money raised, helps those that need it most.”

Tickets are €30 plus booking fee on Eventbrite and Kiely’s Garage, Mallow. The concert will also feature The 3 Buachaillí.
