Driver sought after hit-and-run incident
Gardaí are looking for witnesses to a hit-and-run road traffic incident that took place in Doneraile last Friday 28 June.
At 2.30pm, gardaí and emergency services were alerted to a road traffic incident involving two cars at Brough Cross, Doneraile. A male in his 20s was taken by air ambulance to Cork University Hospital where he is being treated for serious but non-life threatening injuries.
The driver of one of the cars involved failed to remain at the scene and has yet to come forward and gardaí are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed this collision to contact them.
Any road users or pedestrians who were in the vicinity of Doneraile between 2pm and 2.30pm and have camera footage are asked to make this available to investigating gardaí.
