Dublin sold the largest EuroMillions prize ever to be seen in Ireland in February 2019.

Over 10 years earlier, another National Lottery winner made history after claiming over €115 million in July 2005. The incredible amount was won in the EuroMillions and at the time held the record for the highest amount ever won in any European lottery. Another historic entry into the roll call of all-time highest ever prizes claimed came in July 2020 when a EuroMillions player in Dublin won over €49.5 million. The win marked the largest prize ever to be won via the National Lottery online channels.
