If you fancy a staycation where you’re made to feel like royalty, there’s a great spot just outside Cork city.

Oriel House is one of the nicest hotels Cork has to offer, whether you want a night away with your family, friends or a romantic getaway.

With its prime location, excellent service, and stunning accommodations, we would highly recommend this hotel for both leisure and business travellers.

We were lucky enough to visit this hotel at the weekend for a night away - we would highly recommend staying in the Tobin Collection, where the décor is simply stunning and modern.

From the moment we arrived, the staff at this hotel were so welcoming and helpful and this continued throughout our stay.

The rooms were immaculate and very comfortable, and we couldn’t help but notice how trendy The Tobin Collection rooms are. My only complaint is that one night stay is just not enough, the hotel rooms provide such comfort you could easily stay for much longer.

We were impressed by their commitment to going the extra mile throughout our stay, little touches are so important, and the positive vibes of the hotel do not go unnoticed.

This is my third time staying at the hotel and it won’t be the last. We love visiting the Oriel as it’s a fantastic staycation whether you want to spend your whole time within the hotel, taking advantage of the stunning facilities with pool and gym and eating in.

There’s a wonderful gourmet menu available to you for breakfast, lunch and dinner, and each meal is as beautiful as the next.

I love the dinner menu and carvery lunch and what really stood out to me was the fresh produce - all locally supplied. I love the hotel ethos of supporting local and noticed a list of their local and regular suppliers on the menu.

The hotel's commitment to culinary excellence is evident in every dish, ensuring a truly unforgettable stay each time we visit.

Oriel House is what I would describe as a gourmet hotel as it offers way more than just a place to stay; they provide a fantastic dining experience.

We will keep returning as this hotel and its staff remain consistent throughout. We keep receiving 5 star treatment each time and will never have an issue recommending to others.
