Spike Island’s sellout After Dark tours return

This October, visitors can again discover the spine-chilling side of Cork’s iconic prison island through a creepy guided tour, and gain access to truly frightening areas of the island that are usually strictly off-limits.

The After Dark Tours are always a sell-out at Ireland’s most notorious prison island. It will also give visitors the chance to explore the darker areas of Spike Island including the eerie underground tunnels once used for solitary confinement.

In addition, Spike Island will be taking it to new levels as they welcome renowned mentalist and escape artist Dean Jacob for Sinister by Dean Jacob, a spine-chilling night like no other which will feature a live interactive show featuring mind-bending illusions, heart-stopping escapes, and eerie encounters that will leave audiences questioning their realities.

Set against the eerie backdrop of Spike Island, it’s the perfect setting for a scare during the month of Hallowe’en captivated by psychological twists and thrilling escapes.

Sinister After Dark tours will take place every Friday and Saturday night throughout October, starting on 4 and 5 October. In the week leading up to Hallowe’en, this will extend to a four-night run across the week.
