Forty and fabulous!

One of Cork’s longest established beauty businesses recently turned 40 and pulled out all the stops to host fun events in both their stores.

Hennessy Hair & Beauty celebrated their 40th anniversary on Monday 30 September and the Hennessy team chatted with loyal customers over tea and cakes and reminisced over the wonderful years.

The Doughcloyne and Pembroke Street stores were decked out in purple and gold and customers were offered fantastic giveaways and discounts. Cork’s Red FM patrollers provided the in-house entertainment and plenty of prizes were won by participating customers.

The main man himself, Patrick (Paddy) Hennessy, made an appearance, and customers were delighted to celebrate with him on the day.

Directors Susan and Brian McCarthy thanked their loyal customers. “Thanks a million to all our wonderful customers who joined in the celebrations. We are grateful for all the support you have given us over the years, and we look forward to celebrating many more anniversaries with you in the future.

“To our amazing staff, some of whom are with us over 20 years, we thank you for your continued service. We want to thank all our incredible suppliers for gifting us some fantastic prizes for our customers to enjoy,” they added.
