An unbelievable lineup of musical acts awaits those lucky enough to snag tickets for the 2024 Lord Mayor’s Gala Christmas Concert.

Taking place on 7 December in Cork City Hall, gala goers will be treated to performances from stellar Cork acts including Majella Cullagh, Stephanie Rainey, Lady Fi, Kevin Walsh, and the Cork Concert Orchestra conducted by Brian Prendergast.

Also performing will be Pakie O’Callaghan, Montforts Youth Choir, Choral Con Fusion, Kalyna Choir, Citadel, the Joan Denise Moriarty School of Dance, and many more.

Attendees at the launch were treated to incredible performances from the High Hopes Choir representing Cork Penny Dinners, as well as Inclusive Dance Cork and Balance Summer Camp, the Lord Mayor's three chosen charity beneficiaries for this year’s event.

Sharing his excitement at the gala’s launch, Lord Mayor of Cork, Cllr Dan Boyle, said he’s looking forward to bringing together families, friends, and music lovers.

The Lord Mayor said: “I’m thrilled to officially launch this year’s gala concert.

“This year’s concert will be a wonderful occasion in aid of three organisations that do incredible work in our city all year round. That the concert is now in its 62nd year is testament to the unwavering generosity and charitable spirit of the people of Cork atChristmas and I am honoured to be part of this marvellous tradition.”

Tickets for the 2024 Lord Mayor’s Gala Christmas Concert are on sale now and can be purchased through The Everyman website or in Pro Musica on Oliver Plunkett Street in Cork city.
