Improv panto promises more organised chaos!

Ready for some totally unhinged, entirely unscripted festive uproar this Christmas?

The always popular Improv Panto makes its triumphant return next month, promising even more nights of yuletide mayhem than ever before.

For those unfamiliar with the concept – this is not your traditional panto.

It’s an uproarious, spontaneous performance where you, the audience, get to choose the story and decide who plays which character.

Prepare for an evening filled with off-the-cuff comedy, outrageous characters, and unexpected twists as the talented cast of improvisers create a hilarious, one-of-a-kind panto adventure right before your eyes.

Whether you’re a seasoned panto lover or a first-time attendee, The Improv Panto promises to deliver a night of unforgettable entertainment. With the added bonus of two extra post-Christmas shows, there’s even more opportunity to experience the magic.

An annual tradition for many, not to mention a perfect option for work and Christmas parties, audiences are guaranteed a night of gas craic, side-splitting laughter, dancing, and even the odd made-up song.

Ahead of the show’s opening on 6 December, director Laura Harte said: “We are always looking at ways to make the show more fun, more outrageous, and give the Cork public what they need and want at this chaotically busy time of year. We hope people will come in their usual droves and let their hair down for a night where the only tears they will be wiping away will be ones of happiness!”

The show features talented improvisers, actors, and comedians including Dominic MacHale of ‘The Young Offenders’; the people’s princess Laura O’Mahony; the hilarious Declan Wolfe, star of the recent ‘Summer Revels’; the witty and very bould Laura Harte; the inimitable John McCarthy; and the immensely talented Dylan Howe on keys.

This year, to add to the joy and chaos, the team are joined by some legendary dancers who have graciously bounded out of panto retirement to join in the improvised fun.

So, gather your family and friends, don your festive sparkle, and come enjoy the most unpredictable and uproarious event of the season! You couldn’t make this stuff up. Oh yes you could!
