Musical creations!

Fashion design students in Cork have been reimagining second hand garments to create outfits that pay homage to and channel the style of music icons like David Bowie, Harry Styles and Britney Spears.
The students from Cork College of Further Education and Training (FET) have announced they will be presenting a new Iconic Reuse Fashion Looks show to raise funds for SERVE, a Cork-based charity that aims to give opportunities to poorer communities in South America, southern Africa and south-east Asia.
The completed looks will be debuted in St Peter’s, as a part of the Winter Slow Fashion Show at 7pm on 28 November, an event which will raise crucial funds.
Paula Quigley, Programmes and Administration Manager for SERVE said it will also create an opportunity to “spark a much-needed chat about responsible consumption. We’re extremely grateful for the participation of the Fashion students of Douglas Street Campus in this fundraiser”.
Tickets are €15, with all proceeds going to SERVE.
