Having kicked off exclusively on RTÉ Player this week, the new season promises plenty of laughs and heartwarming moments over the Christmas period.

Some time has passed and the inseparable friends, played as always by Alex Murphy and Chris Walley, must navigate shifting relationships while facing the consequences of landing on the wrong side of the law once again, all delivered with the show's signature mix of humour and heart.

Viewers are in for an extra special festive treat this year with 'The Young Offenders' Christmas episode set to air on RTÉ over the coming weeks.

The brand-new season of 'The Young Offenders' is now available to stream on RTÉ Player.

Also on RTÉ’s festive lineup is the Kabin Crew's Christmas Special in which the young Cork city rap collective invites viewers to get to know its members and see where all the magic happens in the Kabin Studio in Knocknaheeny.

It’s been an amazing year for the Kabin Crew with their hit song ‘The Spark’ having gone viral earlier in the year, amassing over 2 billion plays on social media.

RTÉ has an extensive lineup of entertainment planned for the coming weeks, from brand-new series featuring Ireland's top talent to beloved classics that guarantee giggles for the whole family.

Patrick will be marking musical anniversaries with James Blunt and throwing it forward to 2025 with rising stars Clinton Liberty, Alisha Weir and Justine Stafford to name a few.
