Rat Pack star Stephen Triffitt performs as the legendary Frank Sinatra.

Old Blue Eyes is back!

Start spreading the news - one of the greatest interpreters of Frank Sinatra comes to Cork next month.

The West End’s Rat Pack star Stephen Triffitt performs the legendary Frank Sinatra’s greatest hits in a string of dates around Ireland this February, including Cork Opera House on Wednesday 5 February and The INEC on Thursday 13 February.

Stephen Triffitt, accompanied by his band, offers a glimpse of the genius that was Frank Sinatra.

Stephen could be one of the greatest Frank Sinatra tribute acts on the planet. He has the swagger of Sinatra, from his voice to the way he walks.

In 2000, Stephen applied for the ITV talent show ‘Stars in Their Eyes’. Winning his heat, he moved onto the finals of the show, only to be beaten out by Freddie Mercury impersonator Gary Mullen.

“The first LP I ever bought when I was 13 was Frank Sinatra and I have always liked his music. I suppose I sound like him because I started singing in that style and it’s just stuck,” he explained.

In Las Vegas, a producer called Jeff Kutash caught wind of Stephen. Jeff had been planning a show inspired by Frank Sinatra for years and after auditioning him said: “I think Frank would have looked at Stephen and applauded him and been amazed by the likeness.”

Acclaimed worldwide as the master of his craft, he starred as Frank for three seasons at Las Vegas’ legendary Sands Casino. He also created the role of Ol’ Blue Eyes in the original West End production of ‘The Rat Pack Live from Las Vegas' that toured the USA, Canada, and Europe.

Twice, he sold out the London Palladium and Royal Festival Hall with his own solo spectacular.

Stephen Triffitt played Frank Sinatra in the West End’s original production of ‘Frank, Sammy, and Dean – Live from Las Vegas’, which ran for eight years in the West End. He has performed across the world on a regular basis from LA to Moscow with The Definitive Rat Pack.

Reviews from both the UK and US have praised how perfectly he captures Sinatra in his mannerisms, voice and phrasing.

Tickets for his performances in Cork Opera House 5 February and INEC on 13 February are available now at corkoperahouse.ie and inec.ie.
