As the demand for renewable energy continues to surge, Solar Path is setting a new standard in solar PV installations for domestic, commercial, and agricultural properties.
Started about two and half years ago by two industry professionals, Solar Path benefits from a special blend of skills. One founder brings years of experience building tech startups, while the other has background in property development. Ken Hegarty, one of the company’s founders, said: “This combination ensures the company remains at the forefront of solar innovation, while understands how to manage on site projects efficiently and professionally.”
Solar Path aims to make the entire customer journey as easy as possible, from consultation to final installation, delivering not only clean energy but also a hassle-free experience for every client.
Ken added: “The core of Solar Path’s ethos is to provide truly customer-centric experience and satisfaction. Solar is a big investment, so it's important for us as a company to feel our customers get good value as well as a professional service. We have invested significant time and money in our software systems to ensure that the customer journey flows from initial contact, right through to project close out and they are kept informed at every step.”
Ken continued: “This customer-first approach is evident in every installation. Solar Path takes great pride in maintaining cleanliness and respecting client properties. Each team is equipped with mobile vacuum cleaners to ensure that no mess is left behind, allowing customers to enjoy their new energy system without any inconvenience.
“We continually remind our on-site teams to treat every home as if it’s their own. We rely on how our teams perform on site, so feeding this ethos to them and gives us the confidence to know they are delivering for us on every project.”
The company has grown over the last year and now employees nine people. They aim to expand its teams in 2025 and to roll out into new geographical territories. With a passion for sustainability and attention to detail, Ken said Solar Path is more than just a solar installer, it is a company dedicated to making the transition to clean energy smooth and rewarding for every client.
