Johnson & Johnson triumph at Cork Company of the Year Awards
A night of celebration of the best of business in Cork culminated in Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine winning a major award.
Cork Chamber named Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine as the Overall Winner of the Cork Company of the Year Awards 2025 on Friday night, recognising its exceptional impact on the Cork business landscape and its significant contributions to global healthcare.
The four category winners of the Cork Company of the Year awards were announced at the Cork Chamber Annual Dinner at City Hall in front of An Taoiseach Micheál Martin.
The other winners included Ground Wellbeing who won the Emerging category winner, National Beauty Distribution who was the SME category winner and Keohane Seafoods who took the large category winner. Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine also picked up the international category gong.
The awards, sponsored by Vodafone Ireland and media partner The Irish Examiner, continue to highlight the exceptional talent, innovation and resilience within Cork’s business community.
Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine celebrates 20 years in Cork this year and has grown into a global leader in biopharmaceutical manufacturing. With a strong workforce of 1,200 full-time, purpose-driven employees in Ringaskiddy, the site specialises in producing life-changing medicines, mainly for immunology and oncology patients. Over the past two decades, the company has worked to build its manufacturing capabilities and enhance its capacity.
