Whiskey Fest returns for another round!

Whiskey lovers on Leeside are cleansing their palates as we speak with the third annual Cork Whiskey Fest set to kick off tomorrow.

Set to be the biggest one yet, the 2025 festival celebrating all things whiskey runs from tomorrow, Friday, until Sunday across multiple venues along MacCurtain Street in Cork city.

Over three unforgettable days, attendees will indulge in expert-led tastings featuring rare and premium whiskeys, limited-edition releases, behind-the-scenes tours, and special events.

The festival’s highlight event is the Brand Expo & Socials at The Metropole, where 50 whiskey distilleries and brands will offer complimentary samples of their finest creations alongside mixers and food bites.

Distilleries will also showcase their gins, rums, vodkas, and poitíns. Many are served by the distillers, blenders, and brand owners themselves offering a rare chance to engage with the makers behind the magic.

The Brand Expo takes place on Saturday from 7-11pm, with limited tickets still available.

The iconic Shelbourne Bar, which has been named as Ireland’s Best Whiskey Bar for years, will once again serve as the official social hub of the festival.
