Guitar fest goes Clon-line
Don’t fret, the always plec-tacular Clonakilty International Guitar Festival is now underway, and this year it’s entirely online.
The decision to go ahead with the famous week-long celebration is sure to strike a chord with music enthusiasts the country over.
Guitar lovers won’t have to strain their necks when they tune in online to enjoy this years’ electric line-up as the festival enters its sixteenth year.
Featuring live-streamed concerts from DeBarras Folk Club, as well as an extensive series of pre-recorded sets, interviews and archived footage, the 2020 Clonakilty International Guitar Festival is sure to keep audiences 'strumming' back for more.
Some of the artists confirmed for the festival include Bill Shanley, Eve Clague, Míde Houlihan, Jinx Lennon, Greenshine, Wayward Folk and Maija Sofia.
All online concerts have been prepared in compliance with necessary health and safety protocols to ensure an exciting digital experience for this year’s event.
